Riverbend Church along with friends and family will gather for a memorable, historic event when the torch of leadership is passed to the next generation. As Pastor Bobby, our founding pastor, transitions to continue as the apostolic leader of Vanguard Ministries we will celebrate the commissioning of our new Lead Pastor, Joshua Liotta. We will gather in one dynamic Sunday Celebration service filled with powerful worship, an inspiring message and the official "passing the torch" ceremony. Bring a friend and join us for this special occasion that will certainly endure as a milestone in the life of our church.

It's BACK TO SCHOOL! We want to start the school year right with a party at youth group! Tuesday September 10th from 7pm to 8:30pm we invite all 6th through 12th graders to invite their friends and come be a part of this awesome event! We'll have games, fellowship, pizza, and a silent disco! Don't miss out on this fun time. We'll see you there!

Join us for our "Baptism and Family Fun Day" on Saturday, August 17th, starting at 11am! Experience the joy of witnessing baptisms under a large tent outside, followed by a delightful lunch and an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Enjoy bounce houses, a large inflatable water slide, and various yard games. It’s a day for the whole family to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories together. Don’t miss out on this special event!

We are planning for a couple of food trucks, but this is a picnic event, so please bring your own food and drinks, just in case the food (or prices) are not to your liking.

On August 14th, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Riverbend Church will be the “host home” for dinner tables that seat eight people each. Bring yourself and a dish from the style of the night "Italian Night".  We're going to have a potluck eating good time. 

If you are single, a married couple, or a family with children, sign up to save your spot at the table. You will be contacted after registration by our event staff to confirm the dish you will bring. 

On July 17th, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Riverbend Church will be the “host home” for dinner tables that seat eight people each. Bring yourself and a dish from the style of the night "All American".  We're going to have a potluck eating good time.

During our 'She Has a Story' event, we will have a time to hear the stories of God at work within women of Riverbend, develop skills in sharing our own testimony for His glory, and bring the greatest encouragement to one another in our faith.

Lunch and drinks will be served and you will have the opportunity to meet other leaders and members. Children are welcome to sit at the table with their parent/guardian.

Sunday Night Ignite with Leif Hetland

Service start at 6:30pm

Our annual 21 days of prayer and fasting ends Sunday evening, January 28th, with a time of extended worship together. We have already been hearing the testimonies of what God has been doing in the lives of our church. Join us at 6:30pm in the Riverbend Sanctuary with special guest Leif Hetland as the Riverbend Worship Team lead us in a night of worship and prophetic ministry.

Join us on Sunday January 28th for a special combined celebration service as we end our 21 Days or Prayer and Fasting, with special guest, Leif Hetland.

We will have one service, at 10am, at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront in Suffolk. Please arrive early for good parking.

With our church strategically located near busy Shoulders Hill Road, we have an incredible to reach our community with prayer! From 10:30am to 12pm, we will open up our parking lot for the community to pull in, roll down their window, and receive prayer. Below are some opportunities to volunteer!

Here's your chance to spread Christmas cheer! Come serve at our El Amado Christmas party. Sign up to volunteer. All donations can be received at the welcome center on Sunday mornings.
