First experiences can be difficult and sometimes intimidating. We want to help take the guess work out of your first visit with us at Riverbend church! This page was set up just for you, to learn a little more about what you can expect at a typical Sunday morning service with our church family.

When should I arrive?

For those joining us at our physical campus; we recommend you arriving 15 minutes before service time to check in your children, find a seat, and get comfortable.

For those joining us via our online community; we recommend connecting five minutes prior to the start of the service so you can make sure you are logged in and get comfortable. Click here to Learn more about livestream.

What can I expect?

PARKING. Our parking lot has a lot of room, but we have a space saved just for you! As our guest there are several spots right by the front doors of the church set aside for you. Feel free to use those spots, or if you’d rather simply turn on your hazard lights and our parking team will give you a hand.

ARRIVAL. Our lobby atmosphere before and after service is inviting and engaging. There will always be a friendly face to greet you and people to connect with!

CONNECTING. Grab a cup of complimentary coffee in the gathering area, meet new people, and learn more at the Welcome / Info Center where we have a little gift for you.

CHURCH SERVICE. Our Sunday services open with our team playing 4-5 songs of Praise and Worship. Our worship culture is vibrant and spirit-filled. Each week there is practical & powerfully communicated message that uplifts and challenges. Our services run 90 minutes in length, with 30 minutes between the end of the 9am service and the beginning of the 11am service.

Learning to live like Jesus is important to us…no matter the age! Every Sunday, during both services, we have Children’s Ministry offered from Birth - 5th grade. To learn more about River Kids check out the button below!

What should I wear?

Please feel free to wear what you are most comfortable in. Some come dressed up, some come in shorts and flip flops. We welcome our people to come as they are!

Should I bring anything?

Bring a friend, or come ready to meet some new ones! Bring a bible, use your favorite bible app on your smart device, or read along with the scripture notes on the screen. Also, we encourage note taking during the message, so if that means notes on your phone to you, bring your phone, if that means paper and a pen, bring those with you!
